Anti-Ragging Committee

Formulate and review policies and guidelines aimed at preventing and addressing ragging incidents on campus.

Ensure that anti-ragging policies are communicated to all students, faculty, and staff.

Organize orientation programs for new students to raise awareness about the negative consequences of ragging.

Set up confidential mechanisms for reporting ragging incidents without fear of retaliation.

Promptly investigate reported cases of ragging to determine facts and take appropriate action.

Take disciplinary actions against individuals found guilty of ragging or abetting ragging activities.

Provide support and counseling services to victims to help them recover from emotional and psychological impact.

Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve anti-ragging measures.

Collaborate with student bodies and organizations to promote mutual respect and discourage ragging.

Involve faculty members in anti-ragging initiatives and encourage vigilance in reporting incidents.

Conduct workshops to educate students about consequences of ragging and importance of respectful behavior.

Maintain records of ragging incidents, investigations, and actions taken.

Implement mentorship, team-building, and community-building programs to prevent ragging.

Collaborate with NGOs and counseling centers to strengthen anti-ragging support systems.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Display anti-ragging posters, banners, and notices across the college campus.

Regularly patrol the college premises, especially in areas where ragging incidents are likely to occur.

Establish a helpline or dedicated contact point for reporting ragging incidents.

Collaborate with college administration, faculty, and authorities to ensure a unified approach in preventing ragging.

Conduct counseling sessions for both victims and perpetrators to address underlying issues.

Work closely with student committees and representatives to promote collective responsibility in preventing ragging.

Monitor progress of reported cases and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.

Follow up with victims to provide continuous support and ensure their well-being.
