The department of Humanities and Sciences was established in the year 2009 and it has emerged as a department pursuing excellence. The department has a team of highly-qualified and well-experienced faculty members and non-teaching staff. The department has 3 faculty members with Doctoral degree and 2 faculty members pursuing Doctoral degree. Many faculty members are experts in emerging fields of English, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and have made significant contributions in their fields. The aim of the department is to educate aspiring engineering students in the fundamentals of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English, providing a strong platform for their future technical studies. The strength of the department lies in the perfect synchronization of knowledge and skills, driven by commitment and teamwork in the teaching–learning process. Extra care is given through special coaching classes, weekend sessions, and value-added courses during university and semester examinations, designed to meet the needs of all types of students.
